Cookware.com Store Giveaway - CLOSED

I've got exciting news!  I was contacted by Cookware.com to host a giveaway.  It was an exciting day when I received that email, being that my blog is just a baby blog...less than 2 months old.  But, I do use lots of cookware to make all of my canned goods and my many other kitchen experiments.

Le Creuset 5-Quart Oval Wide Oven in Caribbean
One handy item for the kitchen that you can find at Cookware.com is a Dutch Oven.  You can use one for boiling, baking, stews, frying, and roasting.  They are great for the stove top and inside of the oven.

Rival 5 Qt. Programmable Round Crock Pot

Another great kitchen tool is the slow cooker.  I've got 3, and I don't feel like that's too many.  They're all different sizes and fit different needs.

Rachael Ray Porcelain Enamel 4-Piece "Soup It Up" Cookware Set in Orange
About 6 months ago I won a giveaway from a blog (for the life of me I can't remember what blog I won it from) from Cookware.com.  I won the Rachel Ray "Soup It Up" 4 piece cookware set.  I use the flat-edged ladle for almost everything I've canned.  It's perfect for scraping every last drop out of the bottom of the pot.

On to the giveaway!  Cookware.com is giving one of my readers a $45 gift certificate.  You can use it to buy anything from Cookware.com, and it even can be applied to shipping costs.  But, if I were you, I'd choose something that has free shipping.  *wink* *wink*

There are 3 different ways to enter.  For each entry, please leave a separate comment.
  1. Visit Cookware.com and tell me an item you'd love to buy if money was no object.
  2. Visit Cookware.com and tell me what you think you'd get with the $45 gift certificate (don't worry, I won't hold you to your choice).
  3. Become a follower of this blog (on the right-hand side).  Or if you already are, that counts too!
  4. Link back to this post via your blog.  Please post the link for me.  (worth 3 entries)
  5. Tweet about this giveaway with a link back to this post.
The winner will be chosen via random.org.  The giveaway will close on September 19th at 8:00 pm CST, and the winner will be contacted by email.  Please be sure that your email address is in your profile otherwise you can post it in your comment (tip:  post it like "adrienne at hotmail dot com" so the bots can't find your email and spam you).  If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, a new winner will be chosen.  This giveaway is open to the U.S. and Canada only (Canadians, please be aware that international shipping costs may apply).

I was not given any compensation for this post.  I am simply hosting this giveaway and Cookware.com will be supplying the gift certificate.

  39. I would purchase either a 8 or 12 qt. white Le Creuset stockpot. My current white Le Creuset 8 qt. stockpot is my go to piece of cookware for almost all of my canning. I've blanched dozens of pounds of peaches in it, as well as cooked hundreds of jars of jam. This evening it will get a workout for a couple batches of Peach Habanero jam.

During a good canning session I may have to scrub it out 3 or 4 times. Mine is holding up superbly to so much use, but it would be really handy to have a second one. I could put up even faster.
